Developing Economic Insight into the Creative Industries: Supporting the Creative Industries Federation’s State of the Nation Research

The Creative Industries Federation is currently working on a landmark project:  Our State of the Nation research will be the first of its kind in bringing together a comprehensive and accessible snapshot of insight into the creative industries, across all four UK nations. Exploring the sector’s economic and policy landscape, our research will demonstrate the creative industries’ potential for growth in GVA, jobs and innovation, the value of creative education, and the key role our sector can play in contributing to the UK’s COVID recovery. This piece of work will also play an integral role in supporting our ongoing, high profile policy and advocacy work on behalf of the sector.

We’re now seeking specialist external consultants to deliver economic analysis that will form an integral part of the overall State of the Nation project, its findings and recommendations.

We require analysis across the following areas:

  • Analysing and outlining the UK creative industries’ supply chain
  • Undertaking an economic analysis of the impact of COVID-19 on the UK’s creative industries
  • Undertaking economic forecasting on the future economic shape and contribution of the UK’s creative industries

The successful team will be appointed the week commencing 22nd March 2021 and must have the ability to start soon afterwards.

The deadline for tender submissions is 12.00hrs on Friday 19th March 2020. We will not accept proposals submitted after this time.

If you have any queries please email Amanda Stevens, Head of Research & Impact at Creative Industries Federation.
