Join the team as we grow our support for the UK’s creative industries

Creative England and the Creative Industries Federation have come together under the Creative UK group, and as such, we have been growing our support activity for the UK’s creative industries. A key mission for the new joint organisation is to provide opportunities for a multitude of sector superstars, and we need more industry specialists to help us carry that message.

As a result of coming together, we’ve already achieved some incredible triumphs and fought the corner of the creative industries. Some of the highlights include ‘Your Voice, Heard, a survey back in March 2020, which helped inform the impact of the pandemic on the creative sector. This provided a powerful advocacy boost, and led to the #OurWorldWithout campaign, which brought together some 500 industry supporters – including Stephen Fry, PJ Harvey, Meera Syal, Jeremy Deller, Anish Kapoor and Nick Cave – to call on government for urgent financial support for the creative sector. We’re also incredibly proud that the campaigning for our sector by our sector was instrumental in the introduction of the Self Employment Income Support Scheme back in April, as well as the £1.57 billion Culture Renewal Fund in July.

Alongside this, our programmes and initiatives have provided practical investment and help for businesses, through our Creative Growth Finance investment activityand our growth programmes such as Creative Enterprisethe leading business support programme for screen businesses, funded by the BFI.

We are currently recruiting for seven new job roles to help us provide even more support and opportunities for the creative industries, each of which are crucial to the marketing, business, and investment support we offer. These are all exciting opportunities to work with and uncover the creative voices of our nation, and to help position the UK as a world leading place for creativity and innovation.
