NET.WORK@LFF provides a unique opportunity for 15 emerging UK writers, directors, writer/directors and producers to participate in an internationally focussed professional development programme at the very heart of the 58th BFI London Film Festival. This intensive three and a half day event – taking place from 10-13 October 2014 – will combine masterclasses, workshops, private screenings, facilitated networking and one-to-ones with exclusive opportunities to meet and interact with leading international filmmakers and industry executives drawn from the Festival’s programme. Participants will receive full accreditation to attend other programmed LFF industry events and press screenings.

Intended to forge greater understanding and longer-term relationships between UK talent and creative and business practitioners from across the world, NET.WORK@LFF will help participants to think about their own work in a wider context, develop ideas with international potential and better prepare for careers in a global industry. The programme is aimed at upcoming filmmakers from across the UK who have the creative ambition and desire to tell stories that will resonate with both a British and international cinema audience. You will already have built a strong body of professional work that is garnering positive industry and/or public attention.
