When a recently released prisoner inherits her family house, a plot to regain it is triggered by her estranged family who are seeking vengeance for the violent crime she committed.

A prisoner with a history of violence inherits her family house once she’s released, but has to fight her bailiff family, who has disowned her, to get it back. In a bid to get rid of her, they take her into the family business, setting her up to re-offend, but things don’t go to plan when she proves more capable then they first thought, and they resort to another strategy: revenge.

THE TEAM

 

Tom Haines (writer/director)  

Tom is passionate about storytelling, creating worlds and characters through writing and directing dramatic films, including the coming of age short NIGHT OF THE FOXES (IFFR 2013, BFI London Film Festival 2013), and more recently THE MISSION, which premiered at LA Shorts Fest 2018, and was in competition at Austin Film Festival 2018.

His music videos have brought him awards for his cinematic and character driven videos and have seen him working with artists such as Unkle (MONEY AND RUN), Jon Hopkins (COLLIDER), Temper Trap (TREMBLING HANDS) and New Order (TUTTI FRUTTI).

He is currently developing ROTTEN APPLES, a feature film based on his short Night Of The Foxes with producer Anna Griffin, a black comedy TV series I HATE YOU with writer David Whitehouse, and a period neo-western TV drama ESSEX, with his UK commercials company Agile Films.

Anna Griffin (producer)

Anna is a BIFA nominated producer working in both documentary and fiction with Wellington Films and her own newly formed, Griffin Pictures.

With Wellington, Anna has most recently produced the Netflix global break-out hit, CALIBRE, alongside Alastair Clark, written & directed by Matt Palmer, and is leading on a development slate with projects from Kefi Chadwick, Karan Kandhari and Tom Haines. Previously, Anna produced Benjamin Wigley’s debut feature documentary, PAA JOE & THE LION (SXSW).

In 2018 Anna launched her own production outfit, Griffin Pictures, and is developing THE TUNNEL by BAFTA nominated Arash Ashtiani, with support from the BFI and Lush Film Fund. This year, Griffin Pictures was listed in Creative England’s CE50 report.

Anna is a 2018 Screen Star of Tomorrow and the recipient of the inaugural Simon Relph Memorial Bursary.
