Creative UK is leading on a range of initiatives across the North East to provide investment and business support throughout the creative industries.

We are excited to host an exclusive event where business founders can gain valuable insights into our ongoing projects, engage in conversations with our dedicated team members, and learn about the various ways they can access our support. The event will showcase informative talks by our North East team and feature an insightful industry panel discussion on the current investment landscape across the region.

In addition, there will also be free pizza and drinks available for all attendees! We hope to see you there.

Creative UK North East Social aims to raise awareness of the Culture and Creative Investment Programme, North East Create Growth Programme and Creative Growth Finance. With a core focus on investment, the event will explore the barriers and challenges involved from a regional perspective, aiming to inform the future design of our North East offer and identify gaps. The event will bring together Creative UK alumni, programme partners and regional networks to facilitate a discussion on the wider investment ecosystem challenge and research. Through engaging with experienced industry leaders and specialists, the event aims to gain valuable insights into the investment landscape for North East creatives, ultimately driving growth and innovation in the creative sector.

4:30 PM – Arrival and Networking (30 mins)
5:00 PM – Welcome note from Tim Evans, Head of Investment, providing an overview of Creative UK’s role as a sector specialist investor (15 mins)
5:15 PM – Overview of North East activity and programme objectives (10 mins)
5:20 PM – Introduction by Panel Chair, Di Gates (10 mins)
5:30 PM – Panel Discussion: “Investment Landscape for North-East Creatives” (60 mins)
